About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Clément Baudet, which runs Café Rummy. By playing, you accept them.

Who can play

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

Your account

Your account is created with a username. Linking Apple or Google is optional but helps you recover it. Choose a username that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone; we may change usernames that break this rule.

Coins and virtual items

Coins, card backs, salons and other items are part of the game. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, exchanged for money or transferred to another account.

Café Rummy is not real-money gambling: no stake or win can ever be paid out, and there are no prizes of monetary value.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and follow their terms. Refunds are handled by the store. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove what it gave you.

Names, photos and other players

Your username and photo are seen by other players. They must not be offensive, sexual, violent, hateful or discriminatory, must not impersonate anyone and must not show anyone without their consent. We have zero tolerance for such content.

Names and photos are checked automatically before they are shown. Any player can report a name or a photo, and our team reviews every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and may stop its author from adding photos, or close their account.

You can block any player: you will no longer be friends, receive their invitations or be seated at the same table.

Fair play

Play fairly: no cheating, bots, automated play, exploiting bugs, colluding with other players, or using several accounts to collect rewards. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

The service

Café Rummy is free to play and provided as it is. We may change, add or remove features, salons and rewards, and the game may sometimes be unavailable.

Ending your account

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@caferummy.com. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer. These terms are governed by French law.
