Who we are

Café Rummy is run by Clément Baudet (“we”). For any question about your data, write to support@caferummy.com.

What we collect

• Your account: a random account number, the username you choose and your language. We do not ask for your name or email address.
• Sign in with Apple or Google (optional): only the account identifier the provider gives us, so you can find your account again. We never see your password.
• Your games: rounds played and won, weekly league points, daily missions, your coin balance and its history, and the card backs and salons you own.
• Purchases: payments are handled by Apple or Google. Through our payment partner RevenueCat we receive what you bought, the price, the currency, the store, a transaction number and whether it was refunded. We never see your card details.
• Notifications (optional): if you allow them, a push token and your language, so we can tell you when your daily gift is ready. You can turn them off in your device settings.
• Technical data: like any online service, our servers may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.

Photos, names and moderation

• Profile photo (optional): if you add one, other players can see it. It is checked automatically before it is shown. If a photo is refused, we keep only the reason, never the image.
• Your username is checked automatically in the same way.
• Reports and blocks: we keep who reported or blocked whom, to review reports and keep blocked players apart.

What we don’t do

There are no ads at the table. We do not sell your data, and we use no advertising trackers or analytics tools. On the web, your session is kept in your browser’s session storage; we set no tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To run the game and your account, to deliver what you buy, to keep the league and the tables fair, to send the notifications you asked for, and to meet our legal obligations (for example, accounting records for purchases).

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the game: our hosting provider Hetzner (Germany), RevenueCat for purchases, Apple and Google for purchases and optional sign-in, and Expo’s push service for notifications. Other players see only your username, your portrait and your scores.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Purchase records may be kept longer when the law requires it. Technical logs are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to support@caferummy.com. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Café Rummy is meant for players aged 18 and over. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
